Exciting, challenging, and scary all at the same time. I’ve just taken over the Publisher position for Workforce50.com and look forward to making some changes in the coming months. I want to create a dialogue here.
The focus is employment. But my focus is not just making a living but being happy and fulfilled while making a living. There’s a lot of advice out there on how to achieve this. But what works? I’m not interested in spending months meditating in India.

I’m making it happen after 25 years of raising a family! I found a way to re-enter the workforce and leverage my experiences as a mother of college students and a re-careering adult by applying for and obtaining an internship at studentadvisor.com where I write for those subjects, among many other duties. Most 50+ people looking for work like me probably wouldn’t think to go the internship route, but it can be a great fit for the right company, help you learn new skills, and get you a foot in the door – I am living proof!
